Chapter 3

Staring up at the ceiling, the Briton lied wondering on his back in still the same hospital bed he had been lying in for close four days. He was lost in thoughts...or rather memories. He was lost in the past. He was thinking of things that had happened. He was reliving his life inside his head over and over again. He was wondering if he had lived a good life. Had he live a happy life? Had he been truely happy? Was his life worth dying for right now?

Arthur came from a family with two brothers. There was an age difference of at least six years between the youngest; Aidan and Arthur. When Arthur was born, his parents turned their attention from mentioned brothers; Lochlan and Aidan to Arthur. The boy became the center of attention. This caused, as you probably would have guessed, jealousy among his older brothers. Over the years Arthur became their parents' favourite. Their attention grew and along with it the jealousy of his brothers did as well. They begin to pick on Arthur. There couldn't pass a day without one of them picking on their little brother. Arthur never liked it. It was always two against one, it was very unfair.

All the picking and teasing caused Arthur to get a low selfesteem and confidence. Along with being an outcast at school. He was picked on at school as well because of his slightly bigger eyebrows, his messy hair, the way he dressed and his short temper. He didn't really get along with many people. He was an outcast. He still is. He didn't have many friends from the start, but the very few he had, he was loyal to.

Though after high school he became sollitude and after graduating he closed up and barely saw anyone. He stayed inside a lot, spending his time writing. He didn't feel as lonely and alone as this sounds though.

Arthur sighed; he hadn't really lived a truely happy life but it wasn't an entirely sad life either. He just didn't feel as special as he imagined it'd be. He felt like he had just lived a quite normal and boring life like every human being out there. He sighed and averted his eyes. Staring at the ceiling was tiring his eyes out.

Yao's eyes were tired as well, tired of looking through sunglasses. The burning sun was tiring him out. It wasn't that warm and the sun would soon start to set, but it was still burning for the Chinese man. He was dressed in white, because white would absorb warmth the less. Yao had covered every part of his body with some piece of clotheing. People stopped questioning it. Or rather they never really questioned it. Yao had made up a poor excuse; saying he had sun allergies. People were quick believers and stupid enough to buy it.Yao also barely engaged with anyone and wouldn't let someone get close to him. He would never open up to anyone. He couldn't take any risks, as he had already made more mistakes than he wished he had done.

Anyway, to get back to the point, Yao's secret was safe....for now. He wouldn't really stay that longer anymore here. He always left before people would start asking him questions. He let out a sigh and pushed the door of the hospital open. He nodded at the girl at the reception who nodded back and he walked straight on. He was a few hours earlier, but he wasn't having any shifts yet. He was here for something else. Or should I say; someone else.

He stepped into the elevator, ignoring the looks the other surgeons were giving him. He knew they didn't really trust him but Yao learned to shrugg it off. He removed his shades as the sun had just set and continued to walk to the end off the hallway where a room was, where a certain patient was counting the days he had left.

With a soft knock on the door the surgeon waited for a reply. He opened the door slighty as none came. He there spotted the young English writer staring aimlessly out of the hospital window. "Mr Kirkland" Yao spoke as some sort of greeting. The lifeless eyes were slowly turned to him. "Mister Wang." Arthur greeted him back.

Yao looked at him slightly confused as he slightly froze. He had never told him his name and Arthur didn't really talk to anyone else, or so he had heard from the staff. Then...how did he know? Did he know he was-?

Chapter two:[link]
Chapter three: you are here.
Chapter four: to be submitted soon.

I hope this chapter isn't as dissapointing as I think it is. I'm not really satisfied with this one. But it was all written by hand.

It will take some time to have the other chapters up as I don't have a laptop, but I will try my hardest. Thank you all for the faves and watches though~ <3
